Who are the Cyberthugs?
In the year 2509, a group of space travellers returned to Earth after a year-long journey to find the entire planet in a desolate state due to an unknown global catastrophe too unimaginable to think about. This group of travellers scavenged what they could and rebuilt humanity deep underground. Some say the moans of billions of deceased human souls roam the surface.
A few hundred years later, New Earth is doing well. It’s inhabitants, the Cyberthugs, are descendants of the space travellers and are significantly more techologically advanced than present day humans. At this point in history, they have discovered cloning and use that to create a renewable source of food.
The main beliefs/ethics the Cyberthugs live by are those of pacifism and egalitarianism.

What is the Cyberthug Core?
This artefact is an artificial intelligence built by the early Cyberthugs. As the sole governor of the underground civilisation, it lies in an isolated chamber far out of reach of most citizens. Through non-invasive observation in public spaces, those it deems worthy and decent enough will be permitted to access its chamber and provide ideas on how to improve things further.
